Jill Goldspur is the sister of Angus and Jack. She is more responsible than Jack, and the people of Jarlaheim have since long begun going to her with their problems instead of trying to get a hold of Jack.

Etymology[]
The name Jill is a shortened form of the Medieval English, Gillian, which itself is a famine form of the name Julian. Julien is in turn an english variant of the Roman name Iulianus, which was derived from Julius which is believed to be derived from the Greek ιουλος (ioulos) meaning "downy-bearded".
