Description[]
Gen 2[]
"The Pintabian is best known for its striking coat colors and Arabian heritage. As a relatively young breed, these fine horses gained popularity in Jorvik only recently.
The typical tobiano coat not common to the Arabian horse was established through planned crossing of tobiano horses with Arabians for several generations.
Apart from their color, the Pinto Arabian shares the Arabian's typical conformation, intelligence and will to please."
Gen 3[]
"The head-turning Pintabian is a newer horse breed. Officially established in America in 1992, it is the result of carefully crossing Arabians with Paint horses to create classic Arabian conformation with a splashy pinto pattern—an Arabian of a different color, if you will!
Like the Arabian, the Pintabian is a small, elegant horse that features a dish face, large expressive eyes, and high tail carriage. This horse is gentle and intelligent with stamina for days! The breed is commonly used in showing, endurance, and western pleasure, but also makes a nice all-arounder.
The Pintabian, also known as Pinto Arabian, is also quite new to Jorvik, being imported within the last decade by the Goldspur family. More than just a gorgeous face, this horse has a sweet temperament that makes it well-suited to a variety of riders!"

The Walking Rear[]
Note: The horse must reach level 7 to perform this move.
The Gen 3 Pintabian can perform a special move called the Walking Rear. The animation can be activated by pressing the spacebar, but only when standing still, otherwise the horse will jump instead of performing the move.

A Pintabian is available in Star Stable Horses. The fully raised foal can be bought for 950 SC.

Trivia[]
- The Pintabian is technically a crossbreed, as it is a mix of a purebred Arabian and a horse carrying pinto genes.[9]
- Unlike purebred Arabians, which do not carry any pinto genes, Pintabians can come in any pinto variations, as well as dilution genes.
- Pintabian registries require the horse to contain 99% of Arabian bloodlines with pinto genes to qualify.[10]
- When SSO first released the G2 Pintabian, they mistakenly called it the "Pinto Arabian" in game, yet there are no registries that recognize the breed by this name. This has since been fixed.
- Around the time of the G2 Pintabians' arrival to Jorvik, the G2 Arabian Thoroughbreds had their animations tweaked; now the two breeds share animations.[1]
- The G3 Pintabian uses the same model and animations as the G3 Arabian, like the G2 version does with its Arabian counterpart.
- There was once a bug that if the player mounted a G2 Pintabian, their rider would sit very far up in the saddle. This has since been fixed.[11]
- For a long period in the game, the G2 Pintabians were noticeably faster than any other horse breed when jumping, giving players an advantage in racing and championships. In response to reports about the animation speed, Star Stable tweaked the G2 Pintabian's jump animation, now making them equal in speed to other horse breeds.
