Legend trotted up to Claire's house in town. Claire and her father walked out. "Legend! Hey, buddy!" Suddenly, 2 people helping with the horse auction, walked up. "Hello, is this a wild horse?" Claire was puzzled. "Yes,-" But before she could finish, they tied Legend up. Claire yelled. "NO!!! GIVE HIM BACK!!" Her father told her, "We WILL get him back." Legend struggled as they lead him into the auction stall. 5 minutes later, they brung him up the stage. The bid announcer spoke out. "145! 145! GOING FOR 145!" Mrs. Huckinson spoke aloud. "$1200." The bid announcer spoke aloud. "1225! 1225? ANYONE? ALRIGHT, SOLD!" Mrs. Huckinson, told her son and daughter, "Get the horse." -----AT THE HUCKINSON HOUSEHOLD----- Claire, Ashley, and Brooke rode up on horses. They dismounted and Claire ran for the door, knocking aggressively. Mrs. Huckinson arrived at the door and spoke aloud, "What do you want?" Claire spoke, "The horse you bought, he's mine!" Mrs. Huckinson scoffed, "No, He's mine, I bought him." Claire, started crying, "Oh, I know he's wild, but,...bu...but, I love him, He loves me,..." Mrs. Huckinson suddenly softened, "Oh dear, I was just like you when I was little." Claire looked up, relief swelled up in her body. "Come, let me tell you, His name was, Scar, I first met him when, I was 9, it was a rainy, stormy day and father had gone outside to put up the covers on the pins, and there, on the hill, was Scar, mane flapping in the wind, he was almost like a spark of hope, Oh ,how I would go to the ends of the Earth to get him back." Claire softened. "Oh, Mrs, Huckinson...." Mrs. Huckinson smiled, "I understand, you may have him back." But when they got to the pin, he had escaped.
